How can we make a safer safety razor? That’s the question that led to the creation of NickStop Technology. We tested dozens of razors, shaved hundreds of times and listened to our biggest product development team: our customers.

What we came up with was a safety bar equipped with 16 fins to create a smooth shave surface while lifting and guiding your hair to the blade. It prevents your skin from getting trapped between the blade and the bar without sacrificing the close shave you’re looking for. Nicks and cuts decrease while shaving satisfaction increases.

These are what drive NickStop™ Technology. They protect your skin while lifting and guiding your hair to the blade. So, your hair is cut clean at the surface, and you’re left with nothing other than smooth skin and confidence in the way you look.

They are precisely spaced along the safety bar. The bar flattens your skin, so the super sharp blade can glide effortlessly as it cuts your hair. There is just enough space between each fin for hair and shaving cream to reach the blade. So, you never have to worry about your skin getting caught in the blade.

They are designed to cut hair beneath the surface of your skin to get a super close shave. It’s called hysteresis - also known as the “tug and cut” method.

Simply put, the first blade hooks and pulls your hair up, and the following blades continue to cut lower and lower until the hair follicle is cut below your skin line.
